just got rocks, a heater, and grass for my aquarium today :) A good $50 of my paycheck…
I’ll post progress photos if I add plants/watch as my grass spreads! I’m hoping it’ll make a nice carpet. I need to get different lights, I just didn’t have the money for it yet. Cycling with my two male platy’s (I just really wanted them to stop breeding with their mothers..)
there was more grass when I first planted it than there is now :| it went from this…to…nothing, surprise, Amanda failed again at plants!

The Aqua Blog: I was shocked when I went to petco today They were selling Leopard Puffers. When I think of a fish as delicate as a puffer, I do not think of the typical petco clientele (at least at this petco) being capable of caring for a puffer. This is the same petco that tells people an Oscar would be a great fish for their 10 gallon tank.
I went…I went to my local petstore today and noticed they were selling a combo of a firemouth cichlid and a 5 gallon tank :|
